- first graders don't get rhetorical questions. they just don't. after seeing my kids bump into each other for about the fifth time before lunch, out of exasperation i asked, "how many times have i told you not to run in the classroom?" one of the boys turned to his friend and said, "hey, how many days have we been in school?" they don't get rhetorical questions, but they sure do get sarcasm.
- basketball season has officially started. tuesday we traveled to abilene for ryan's first basketball game. it was a good trip, even though his team lost, and we got home about 11:30. i'm still feeling the effects of that night. i think i'm going to sleep all day saturday. except for lunch with pauline. and dinner with my family. and a couple of other things that need to get done. but other than that i will be asleep! i am excited for the season. watching my brother and cousins (micah and hannah) play is one of my greatest joys.
- two more weeks before thanksgiving break. that's all that really matters right now.
take a peek into my life. read my stories of family and cute students. laugh with me. cry with me. be my friend.
